I've been the lone resident of John Collins Island on this board. He's shooting 54%/41% this season. Granted, there is zero pressure to his minutes but he's found his shot again. 5/8 from three tonight. I still think he can help a playoff team and his contract is reasonable given the current cap.
he's out of our price range, but i would gladly take him to upgrade or PF spot...id even forgive him for putting biid on a t-shirt

Amen Thompson is really coming along this season. Just needs to find more consistency with creating his own shot.

One day someone has to explain to me how Rudy gobert has multiple DPOY awards..but is a defensive liability when it’s crunch time

Tbh? Similar to how Dikembe (RIP king) was a multi DPotY winner but would be food in this era. Rudy came on during a transition period and now finds himself more and more on the wrong end as far as recognition.

i.e. he’s flawed but would be a bulwark monster in an era of poor spacing, few shifty guards, and the opposing 5/4 combo being Antonio Davis and Charles Oakley types

Posters on this board hate 3s, so Shai’s game should be right up their alley, especially since he generates a lot of his offense from the post.

He’s a throwback guard in that respect.

Just seems strange how these back-in-the-day cats don’t speak about him on here. I can’t help but feel him being Canadian stops them from embracing him, even if they don’t hold it against him, it doesn’t give them a reason to follow him.

I guess it speaks more to them not watching games than anything else (where they can’t notice him).

Well he's Canadian, so that's enough reason for me

He's really good but his slashing is not entertaining and his finishing ain't either. He just has a simple ass game, it's not much finesse or explosion to it.

Effective as fukk but boring to watch.

After the way the Wolves folded against the Dubs last night, I feel like Ant doesn't trust his teammates. That game was very winnable until he went OD with the "Hero Ball" play

I mean he's playing with Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and the corpse of Mike Conley....

Who is he supposed to trust? They traded their 2nd option on offense for two inferior guys.

Timberwolves had a job to make their offense better....and they made it worse.
