This statement is why the NBA is no longer fun as you get older. You have enough historical data to know the difference between regular season teams and playoff teams so their is never really a time to enjoy a team going on a run winning more than expected.

But imagine if you were like 9 years old, this shyt would be crazy!!!

This is why us old heads post stuff like "is anybody not hyped to watch....( Draft, season openers, all star games). Sports can't just be fun without the context of a championship.

We cooked. Just let your kids enjoy it at this point, you know too much

to be fair, if I was a Cavs fan, I'd be enjoying this. My comment was moreso a reflection on Donovan Mitchell. I don't think a team that has him as the first option is a legitimate contender and he's a great player. I could be wrong though and the East looks cooked with Milwaukee being done.

Clippers have 9 free throws with 4 minutes left in the 1st. NBA really doesn't respect it's audience. Everything is a stoppage of play.

Even though it's the Heat w/o Butler...looks like Denver is starting to get rhythm

Still gonna need to sure up their bench and get a legit backup 5 for Joker

I used to think that about Mitchell but I've come around that it's possible for him if everything lines up like Dirk in 2011. Mitchell's always been on teams with minimal offensive talent around him but it feels different with Atkinson as the coach for this Cavs team.

Their biggest question mark to me remains the Mobley/Allen front court. Mobley still isn't shooting threes and I don't care how good they look during the regular season; that shyt isn't gonna fly in the playoffs. If Mobley isn't shooting threes, Allen needs to go if they're serious about contending.
