A 33 year old Corey Joseph starting on a potential playoff team during the play-in tournament downright insanity to me. I think there's a disconnect on NBA scouting overseas because there's a lot of guys in Euroleague & various European domestic leagues who are flatout better.

I honestly think players just enjoy having him around like garrett temple, taj gibson, jeff green, kyle lowry. The mentoring off the court etc etc.

These guys are washed and can barely contribute

One of the things that's fascinating to me is that I watch a ton of Euroleage and foreign domestic leagues and you can see that there's plenty of guys in these leagues who could legit play in the NBA.

Kendrick Nunn is easiy better than more than half of the rotational guards in the NBA and is in Panathinaikos. Yabusele was over in Real Madrid and never would have gotten another NBA shot without those games in the Olympics. I truly believe that international scouting is lacking and once guys are out of the league, guys are slept on as if they stopped improving.

Yup I totally agree, guys just need a chance. Look at this dude on the warriors post, he's a 25 rookie from netherlands and teh 52 pick in the draft. 99% sure if not golden state he would have been playing in europe esp with his eu papers

definitely & it’s a lot of politics involved..my cousin won chips with Maccabi Tel Aviv & he told me years ago he was content with playing overseas

I can definitely see that. I know there's def politics involved.

Honestly playing overseas seems fun if you get with a high level Euroleague team, a decent Spain ACB, French, German or Serbian Team or are in the CBA.

At the end of the day, you're still playing basketball for a living which has to be incredible. I'd imagine so many guys would rather actually have a chance to play and get minutes as opposed to sitting on an NBA bench too. Kendrick Nunn is the Euroleague MVP this year getting millions to play and be a God in Greece. It's not the NBA, but that's a great life.
