If GS can make some noise in the playoffs it’ll rest on Podz continuing to play like this.
He's THE key if the Warriors want to make the WCF or Finals.

Jimmy is basically giving you what he's going to give...expecting him to turn back the clock and be prime Jimmy who can win a series single handedly isn't realistic IMO.

If Podz is scoring and creating Jimmy can put up his 15-20, play solid defense and rebound.

That's the ideal scenario for a long playoff run.

What's funny about the West is all these teams are shells of their former selves

We've seen much better Curry-GSW teams, LeBron-LAL teams, Jokic-DEN teams, Kawhi-LAC teams... hell, even last year's MIN team was much better than this iteration...

..but since they all kinda regressed together, it still has the desired affect of parity :pachaha:

I think the Warriors are going to sneak into that 3rd seed.

Out of their 5 games the only challenge is going to be the Rockets and Clippers….and the Rockets have all but locked up that 2nd seed so they don’t have much to play for.

So that only leaves the Clippers who the Warriors are a much better team than now

Meanwhile the Lakers and Nuggets have a bunch of teams still playing for something and will prob drop 1 or 2 games.

rockets still need one win to clinch at least 3rd and if that one win is against the lakers theyll clinch 2nd. the rockets next game is the warriors and they dont play the lakers til the next to last game of the season so they absolutely will not be taking their foot off the gas until the 2nd seed is clinched. i wouldnt necessarily agree that the warriors are much better than the clippers but that clippers/warriors game to close out the regular season will most likely have seeding implications.

beating okc was huge for the rockets because they could have possibly fell to 6th, but theyre not completely out of the woods yet. they could still fall to 5th if they lose out and every one of the teams they play is still at risk of falling into the play-in.
