Very proud of Houston finding their footing again. Was looking a bit spooky about a month back when they seemingly hit a wall and were in danger of plummeting down the standings. Ime should get some CotY considerations.

I don’t believe I said they’re not allowed to be tired. I’m merely pointing out it isn’t a good look for them at this point of the season.

The season being a marathon and the effects of that go without saying.

Isn't a good look

What are you implying with the comment

Are they less likely to win their 1st round matchup because they've lost 4 in a row?

No, that’s what you think I’m implying.

Brotha, it ain’t that deep, and I’m not sure why you took such offense to a generalized post (as if I’m not allowing them to be tired), especially when there’s been more drastic comments said about them.

Losing 4 in a row when you supposed to be a contender isn’t a good look. You don’t need to look into that statement any more than what it is in black and white. They’ve got to hope they get this out of their system before the playoffs, or else it could be a sign of things to come when they do play the best teams.

So them playing .800 ball most of the season isn't a greater indicator of what they gonna do when they play the best teams?

The playoffs are a different beast. And momentum is everything in sports, so making sure you’ve got your shyt straight heading into the postseason is paramount.

Once again, you’re reading something into my comment which wasn’t implied. Why is this so hard for you to understand? I’m specifically telling you what I meant, yet you keep trying to force this implication that you’ve conjured up in your head about my post.

The losing streak means nothing. The body of work is the body of work

They're 56-14. Likely finish 65-17

And you're talking about playoff momentum on March 22nd. Lol

It’s too early to say if it means anything or not. Donovan has played terribly over this stretch and it’s been used to emphasize the point of him not rising to the occasion when they need him.

If he does the same in the playoffs, are those cats wrong for using this recent stretch as a reflection of his play, and ultimately the Achilles heel of the Cavs?

Body of work during the regular season means nothing in the playoffs. I don’t know why you keep emphasizing as if it does.

They’ve only got 12 games left, so yes, momentum matters, especially for a team that hasn’t had any notable playoff success. They’re not like the Celtics who can just turn it on because they’ve already proven they can do just that.

You’re doing too much. You can stop replying to my posts about this now. I’ve specified what I meant by my original post, you don’t need to keep dragging this bullshyt out.
