Sometimes we be up there with teams and I remember that the starters are three rookies, one second year player and sprinkling of Middleton and Poole. Then we'll be all surprised when the second team is beating guys when those are the real vets with experience.

But as a unit the first group defensively is a good watch.

Pistons, Rockets, and now Wizards surrounded their young developing guys with good veterans. When was the last time CHA has done that, Gordon Hayward?

They’ll eventually figure it out though, and realize LaMelo ain’t it

I think its detrimental to tank for years and then suddenly think one day you can break out. The guys who have gotten out of it decided to get multiple guys per year over the course of a few years to minimize the losing time.
Okc, Houston are some examples. I like how Wizards trying to get multiple in a year like we just did. Got four first rounders this year and we playing three of them consistently. Instead of one per year for three or four years

You can't act like Castle isn't having a hell of a run. Look at his last few games. I've been keeping tabs of him, Matas and Ron Holland.

There's a game Castle goes against Ron Holland and their team and goes off before he fouls out. I knew he might be better than advertised. He goes a year to U Conn. Wins a championship. Goes to the spurs. Goes to the all star dunk contest and raises his profile. He's in the rookie sophomore game and with the uptick in his numbers might be the front runner for rookie of the year.

Matas should be looked against Risacher because that's who he had smoke for and said he was better.
