i legit can't figure out why the hawks are so stuck on trae at this point

its bigger than the product on the court.
trae can be god awful and still bring fans in, sell jerseys and merch. just because of his style of play. logo shots, fancy passing, etc. just look at the all star voting. the kids love trae.
the hawks dont want to be completely irrelevant and not thought of with empty arenas like the early 00s.
