Yeah we had to move Morris but at this time Lue had PG running point and it was turnover city and it would tire PG out and make him less effective on the defensive end. PG wanted Russ on the team badly, so it happened.

The fanbase shouldn’t let them off the hook for that tho. That was incompetence by the GM, coach, and star player. Even useless Doc Rivers knew PG couldn’t/shouldn’t be the pg.

Then, wanting to reduce turnovers… by bringing the most prolific turnover machine who also reduces spacing.. and couldn’t make it work with neither PG/Melo, nor Bron/AD?

They needed somebody to be a reasonable adult/decision maker, and they failed y’all. Then double downed on it this season.
