College basketball is ass outside of MM, lmao at comparing it to the NBA

It's also a bit odd that (not always but noticeably more often) whenever other sporting events do well with viewership, the journalism and discourse can't just celebrate it as just that. i.e. "such n such sporting event did great and brought in ___ ratings!" Instead they gotta find a way to drag the NBA into it.

Like last year with that college hoops female and her games. Just celebrate it as a win for women in sports. If in comparison the GSW/LAL series "only" brought in 8 million cable viewers 6 different times in a 2 week period, or the DEN/MIA Finals "only" brought in 11-12 million viewers on ABC on 5 different evenings in a 1.5 week span, it's ok.
