Honestly I was about to commend Denver for how surgical they erased that 12 point lead with 5 mins left to be up 3 with 30 seconds…

But then DAL’s shot making and Murray committing the only error DEN made in those last 4 minutes… shooting too early in a tie ball game

2.8 seconds was too much time :wow:

this is the kinda shyt you need when PJ is 2-10 with his hands in his pockets on defense over the course of 30+ minutes :wow:

I agree, I’m not upset that Murray took that shot, like I said he is usually money from midrange just the clock management needed to be better but this is a good reminder of how to operate last plays of the game situations
gordon's weak closeout on luka was a bigger issue than murray's jumper imo

Yeah, Gordon needed to play up on him there but the biggest issue is the second/third quarter lulls that put them down 13 going into the 4th. When the nuggets put themselves in that position going into the final quarter of the game their room for error is a lot smaller and it caught up to them this game

The funny thing is I think Kyrie wouldn’t even even needed to hit that had Luka given him the ball on the previous possession. he was calling for it and Luka never even looked his way
