Luka and Kai play with putrid teammates

There's no way these dudes should be in league
I just don't see how Luka isn't leaving Dallas in three years. Their roster management has been horrific and they have a bunch of godawful contracts on the books.

Their only hope might be missing the playoffs, miraculously winning the Lottery and getting Victor.

Both of these were crazy in person. I'm here now.

Bertrans, Kleiber and THJ are dead weight and they’re carrying all of em for multiple years.

Kyrie’s played well but even if they sign him long term, he doesn’t fix what’s wrong with the team.

Christian Wood can’t play, he’s a net negative out there who is a liability on defense

Sixers acting like they've never seen a zone before ... this is poor coaching

They have to offer Kyrie a full max but there's so many holes left. I've been saying for a while that they have BY FAR the worst front court in the league. It's embarrassing.

Those contracts you laid out are untradable without attaching a first or taking back something even worse. Hardy and Green look like they have a lot of potential but their small cap numbers would make it hard to get a difference maker in return for them. You have to attach those awful contracts to make the money match.

Declining to give Brunson that 4/$55 million deal is gonna be remembered as an all-time domino. The craziest part is the Knicks are gonna be in prime position to sign him in free agency or offer up a motherload of picks to trade for him.

Do they? I get they traded a bunch for him but that’s kinda a sunk cost at this point. If you sign Kyrie to his max, with all their other current salary obligations I think that puts a fairly low ceiling on that team for the next 3-5 years. You’re gonna fill out your roster with min level guys.

The play might be to let Kyrie walk and try to fill the roster in around Luka with better fit role players. Neither option is great, IMO. Dallas’ FO really screwed this up.

What other choice do they have? Who can they possibly sign to replace his talent?
