I mean, yes, he definitely should've gone harder at the hoop, but it wasn't exactly a bunny he passed up -
He likely would've had his shyt blocked. Kornet was right on his hip and Grant was right there to help.
No doubt he needs to score more, I don't think that's ever been in question, but some of y'all get triggered by plays like that where there's no easy scoring opportunity for him. Claxton could've had an easy dunk there if he headed right towards the rim.
What I've been speaking about throughout this season -
@Raquinotj where you at fakkit? Look at the Celtikkks down by 29 and it’s not even halftime
Not excusing it, but that play wasn't exactly worth damning him over. You know basketball too well to keep excusing his lack of aggression when it comes to scoring the ball. He doesn’t drive the ball at all anymore..
The pushing and playmaking in transition and defense is great but he has to score the ball. If he doesn’t figure it out he will be moved..you can’t devote that large of your salary cap to someone who has a phobia of scoring.
What situation is going to work? He seems to shut down at a coach getting on his ass nh. But then if you’re passive like Nash and Brown he takes advantage of that. Not excusing it, but that play wasn't exactly worth damning him over.
There were plenty other examples during the game that would've sufficed, but not that one. He made the right call by passing it; Kornet was on top of him and Grant was in the midst of sliding over. This isn't a Game 7 vs. Hawks with Trae under the basket situation. We've been known for a long damn time now he needs the right situation to flourish - he's not capable of doing it on his own.
No different to Wiggins landing in GS and finally getting some fire in his belly.
Nothing is more obvious than pj getting 35 minutes.this tank ain't stopping for shyt my god
lamelo might be too blatant
35 minutes of letting random 6'8 raptors players bully and humiliate himNothing is more obvious than pj getting 35 minutes.
ok i'll stopWe gonna do this every game?
