I understand why the Pistons didn't do it, with him failing the physical and all, but I really wanted that trade to go through. Would have been a nice young piece with size and versatility to develop.

Utah's good start is purely coincidental that they signed players who mesh well together. Just look at the assists the starting lineup had in their last game:

Olynyk - 4
Lauri - 5
Vanderbilt - 7
Clarkson - 6
Sexton - 4

None of these guys are known as pass-first players either.

This is why I've never brought into this bullshyt of folks saying that x-player needs to dominate the ball because his teammates can't create for themselves, can't dribble, can't pass etc. 99.9% of players that make the league can do that on a basic level; all you really need to do is get them to buy into it.

This is why as great as Luka is, the Mavs aren't going to have any long term success if he keeps playing the way he does.
Yeah that’s why I didn’t buy the Jazz tanking shyt and acting like they’d be one of the worst teams ever.

Even coaching wise they have a functional starting 5 with spacing. They could have put Kessler a rookie big in there over Olynyk.
