That’s kinda what I hope we do. Trade Ingram to Charlotte for that pick 2 pick and Zion to the Blazers for their 3 pick.

Zion stays hurt to much and has zero discipline or commitment to playing and I don’t see Ingram as a guy that can carry a squad. High quality #2 or maybe even #3 on a team with title aspirations. He’s going to want max money though. Paying guys like BI max money is the definition of being a treadmill franchise.

We still own the rights to the 14th pick too. Get Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller with vets like CJ and Jonas and build for 2-3 years from now.

We still have other nice young pieces like Trey Murphy and Herb Jones too and a nice young coach in Willie Green.
id even trade all the vets + 14 to get another higher pick lol.. keep youth movement goin

Any Pelicans fan that wants to trade BI has to be out their fukking mind
Nice player but you better be sure he’s a guy that can get you over the hump especially when these new CBA terms go into effect because you going to have to max him out to keep him and hope one of those other young guys develop into something. BI is a young nice player but he hasn’t proven himself to be a guy you can build around.

It's not an issue having a max player on the roster
You need to pay someone
You can't just have rookies and minimum players
There is a salary floor

Dump CJ's bum ass if anything

It’s hard when your gm does not go all in. His response to the year after SVG was to employ a backcourt of Graham and NAW. He’s had weak benches throughout the tenure. Instead of getting him help at deadline, he traded for Richardson. The only fair question is the health, which I won’t argue. But anyone arguing about roster help isn’t serious. Last season was the first time DG put a playoff roster but 3-4 rotational guys were missing because of injuries where the coach was forced to play Kira and Hayes in the biggest game.

I mean... :manny: Terry would at least pretend to play defense on a winning team. Boston should've *never* let him go though. That should be clear for everyone at this point.

Meh

Rozier was awful his last year with the Celtics, and then went on a media tour after the season where he took no accountability and threw his teammates & coaches under the bus, he was never getting brought back

Looking back at that offseason I’m way more bothered that they used a lottery pick on Romeo Langford than anything :francis:
