I was thinking...should the Clippers try to sign James Harden? :jbhmm:

Tell him he can try to be Houston James as long as Kawhi and PG13 are not playing, but if they are healthy, he's to play the point guard for a big three. Kind of hedge their bets. Either have a healthy big three or have James Harden trying to show he can still be an elite scorer and have him lead role players to the playoffs.

Harden's from L.A., I'm sure he wouldn't mind the location even if it's not Houston.

I don't know about their cap space situation but Steve Ballmer is one of the richest owners in the league right? Can't he pay the luxury tax?

And Harden's a free agent so why draft picks?

I don't know sh*t about how these things work btw. I'm a casual when it comes to front office stuff. :yeshrug:

They don't have his bird rights like Philly does or the cap space to sign him outright like Houston does. It sucks for Philly as they could essentially lose him for nothing like Dallas did Brunson as Houston has no incentive to do them the solid and help him out.
