Depth is overrated come playoff time. It matters more over the course of 82 games. Rotations get shortened in the playoffs and players are getting days off between games.
Not necessarily we’ve seen over the years were top heavy teams have lost series due to the lack of depth and guys that can hit shots when it matters or defend.

Come to the rockets, Portland can have kpj

Would Portland in a rebuilding situation with a team that lacks veterans (seeing as dame is going to be moved in the potential deal) be a good fit for KPJ. KPJ strikes me as a player who needs to go to a team like Miami or Toronto for example. A team that has a good culture but doesn’t coddle it’s players.

I'm just trying to think about how many fanbases are truly happy with the year their team has had this year or their chances in the playoffs. Bucks fans for sure but not sure who else. Kings fans are happy as hell how the year turned out but probably not trusting them in the playoffs due to defense. Nuggets fans as well.
The defense is what it is at this point. Kings are way too inconsistent with their effort. What's concerning to me is their slow starts lately. Teams are also starting to defend them better and it's gonna be even tougher come playoff time. You watch the Kings, you know what I'm talking about.

Who is this years random over performer basically a player who is in a career year due to opportunity or the fact it’s a contract year so they either out perform their career averages due to either opportunity provided due to injury or due to being in a contract year.

I think one thing that will help is that Sabonis and Fox can both win a one on one matchup in situations where the offense gets shutdown. In the playoffs a lot of times that what it comes down to. If the offense is stagnant can always feed those two until they force double teams which should open everybody else up. I think they're smart enough offensively too with the cutting to build in counters to whatever defense they face.
