Giannis is so physically talented but mentally is the dumbest lowest IQ superstar in the league. Just so much hero ball in the 4th and lazy on defense. Trying to outduel embiid rather than trying to help
His team win. And how the fukk does someone as hot as Allen not get a touch in the 4th? he was open multiple times. That’s also piss poor coaching.
I’m glad that folks are starting to acknowledge this. There seems to be this notion that Giannis has been playing great defense this season, when it couldn’t be further from the truth. He doesn’t even shoulder heavy defensive reps. Brook, Jrue, Jevon, Allen are top-4 on the team in defensive matchup possessions (they also rank high on matchup difficulty/effectiveness among the league), and we’ve got folks running around on this board acting like Giannis has been some defensive pillar for them this season.

Another example of who’s watching the games and who isn’t.

Did this nxgga make just make seven posts, consecutively, tagging me in all of them, about someone who had more turnovers than points.

people look at his numbers and think he plays great. watching the games, he gets away with ALOT of dumb shyt on both sides of the ball. it was glaringly obvious last night. leaving niang too much space to hit 3s, helping off mcdaniels too far, recovering poorly, and fouling him on a 3. not boxing out mcdaniels allowing him a putback dunk, etc. and even dumber/more selfish decisions on offense. credit to him for hitting FTs, but he was clearly playing to put himself as MVP frontrunner rather than playing to help his team win especially since it was a national tv game in primetime. just a very low IQ player.

What was our record before
awful. so he not helping them win games....which is the point

he was on the warriors and he wasnt helping. Now he;s on a putrid team, and he still fukking things up. All this talk about "Kerr wasn't giving him a chance", and the man is proving Kerr right. The Detroit fukking Pistons are 9 points WORSE when he's on the court. He's not an NBA caliber player. Simple as that.

Below are the on/off numbers for him after the 5 games (not including his stinker from yesterday, so the numbers are currently WORSE now). On/off compares him to his actual teammates. So again, he was putrid with good, HOF/all-star teammates, and he is terrible on a tanking team. So
