MVP-narrative week. DEN vs MIL tonight. But on Saturday: DEN vs PHI
All people remember last year with Embiid's botched MVP-campaign is that nearly every significant regular season game, Philly basically face-planted. Stomped out by KD, Kyrie and BK in Simmons (street clothes) return; bad losses to Giannis and Jokic in the span of a week or something.
Well this year, quietly, Philly has gotten they shyt together and are now the #2 seed, just 2 back on the L side from Boston and Denver for top record. And as great as Luka has been... Joel surpassed him in efficiency/PER a couple weeks back.
But finally, it's narrative time again for him. Shame KD can't play tonight.
