Bruh trying to move all the other events around a revised NBA schedule is a logistics nightmare, and if rodeos weren't making money like that I doubt they would have the Spurs on the road like that every year.
rodeos, gospel concerts, low league hockey, etc - there's a long, long list of events that get pushed to the back of the priority list for every stadium in the league is my point. replace rodeos with monster truck rallies. point still is the same. its easier to move those around than it is to open an entire arena amidst a total shutdown.
and the option was a lot easier when it was just a few teams, now whole league is in trouble. its a problem of their own making that's why i call it damage control. league let it get to this point by deliberately ignoring charlotte and chicago's situations. then wants to act like their hands are tied and its just too tall an order to move a bunch of games across the entire association.
they had the option to reschedule shyt weeks ago and made it clear they're not gonna budge until shyt hits the fan or the all-star break - whichever comes first.
