Looking at Jordan Poole's fit makes me wish they could afford to keep this whole crew together. I'm not a GS fan but the league shouldn't punish a team with tax penalties for drafting, developing and paying guys their market value. You should encourage that type of process with luxury tax breaks for players who fit that criteria.

I doubt it'll ever change and don't think it should but I could see folks blaming these blowouts in the playoffs on the 82 game season and want there to be less regular season games.

To me it has more to do with the fact that the three ball is an antidote to inconsistent officiating

The refs can let the defense hack and commit blocking fouls that effectively prevent scoring inside 10 feet

But the referees can't stop three pointers from going in

So a team that wants to control their destiny and not rely on the referees calling an even and consistent game needs to strategize around the three

But no matter how good you are at the 3 you live and die by it and sometimes you shoot 55% and sometimes 25% and that's the difference betw blowing the other guys out and being blown out
