Trae Young becomes second player to lead the NBA in points and assists


4th in points, 3rd in assist, 6th in efficiency (higher than Luka & Ja). He absolutely has been the best or at worst 2nd best PG this season

There’s 2 sides to the ball and he’s probably one of the top 5 woat defenders in the league. Plus he’s going to get penalized for his team being a 9 seed especially after making the ecf last year. 3rd team seems about right

1st - Booker and Luka
2nd - Ja and Curry
3rd - Trae and CP3

Charlotte needs to fire their coach. Them getting whooped tonight was more predictable to me than the Nets beating the Cavs. A week and a half ago they gave up 144 points in back to back blowouts. Where's the urgency at this point of the season? No fight when home court for this play-in game was still in play or even moving to the 8th spot where they could get two cracks in making the playoffs. That coach ain't it.

Pelicans front office was looking shaky in the beginning of the Zion era but adding CJM, Jonas, and the 2 draft picks in Jones and Murphy w/ Ingram got them trending up. Zion and his team gotta cut the shyt and get it together, he's got a decent core to play with.

I‘m not going off of any analytics. He is awful defensively and makes no effort.

Even putting that aside, when did any of the guys you mentioned make 1st or 2nd team when their teams weren’t even in the top 8 in their conference?
