Is Ben Simmons going play in the playoffs ?
That's the question. Without him, the Nets are what they were at the start of last season, pre-Harden trade: a .500 team that will put up 120 (80 between KD/Kyrie) but will also give up 120.
Nets' defense takes that fear level down a ton & add on Nash's coaching capabilities
Bucks probably praying they get them in the 1st round
Yea, I mentioned it a few weeks back after watching them play the Celtics and Grizz, tho i'd wanted to see a larger sample size.
But at this point, KD putting up 40+ doesn’t hit as hard when Tatum
knows he can drop 50 on the Patty/Seth/Kyrie switches, basically shooting over chairs; Trae knows he gon have those same guards in foul trouble; and teams in general kno they can go on extended runs and put points on the board with BK powerless to stop them.
Play-ins could go either way: they may have historic shooting performances where
everything is clicking in back-to-back routs...
or as we've seen all season, something goes wrong (pick anything) and KD finds himself facing a 4th qtr deficit vs a scorching hot team.
