You’re right but Giannis suffers from the same thing Lebron did, they have a more robotic rigid style of play and have a more well rounded game do don’t get mentioned enough when talk of best scorers come up, the likes of Durant Kobe etc are more fluid in their style of play, more natural basketball players and are less rounded all in all in terms of playmaking, defending, and athleticism so their scoring gets highlighted.

Kobe less rounded in defending

Nikka his defense was not that “well rounded” certainly not up there with DPoY level defenders like Giannis or LeBron in his prime

Good point of attack defender 1-3 when engaged, good athleticism to jump the passing lanes for spectacular steals, good hands, competitive/tough, in his later years a good communicator/QB

But overall not that well rounded provided lil to no paint resistance, vulnerable to screens and as a post defender due to his frame, effort waned throughout his career to conserve energy for offense

Certainly not as well rounded defensively as Giannis or prime LeBron who were far more versatile in positions and play types they could defend and far more explosive gamebreaking defenders

I had Embiid leading the mvp race a few weeks back but it's gon be some undeniable deebo bully ish if Giannis ends the season #1 in scoring, #1 in PER (.3 behind Jokic), and #1 seed in the East (.5 behind Miami). All three are well within his grasp.

@JoelB @Leasy yall lost the tanking pistons :mjlol:

No wonder yall ducking my mentions :lolbron:

LeBron is 37

Kobe was one of the worst defenders in the league and one of the most inefficient players on O at this stage of his career :mjlol:

LeBron is top 20 in blocks, top 10 in charges, tied career high 1.1 blocks per game, one of the few players on an awful defensive Lakers team ranked a + defender by the analytics
