Hornets with the tie breaker? Brooklyn may have to win 2 elimination games

Scary Hours
:lupe:

BK is lowkey back to where they were at the start of last season, pre-Harden trade... when KD/Kyrie had everyone so captivated by the shot-making that ppl didn’t immediately recognize why they stayed a .500 team.

They’re back to being bottom 10 defensively with an over-reliance on KD/Kyrie to be spectacular on offense.

How's Philly doing post-Harden trade?

Finished the game too.

Wade said it before, but the most amazing thing about Bron is that he gets injuries that shelves regular nikkas, finishes the game dropping 27-30, then is probably playing the next game.

That "sprain" puts me on the shelf for probably a month and some change. :francis:

I wonder how the Cavs FO/fans would feel if they were eliminated in the play in?

No one expected them to be in the playoffs, but they started the year well but they've fallen to 7th after the AS break.

A 1 game elimination game against the Nets, Hawks, Hornets can be dangerous even if its at home

would the season be a disappointment if they didn't get to the playoffs?
They lost an All Star Center after the All Star break. The conference is loaded so them missing the Playoffs isn't a bad season for them imo

I think for the Cavs, the interesting thing will be what their expectations for next year will be.

And whether they'll be more Memphis (upward) or Atlanta (downward) when it comes to unexpected young teams that overachieved the previous season.

Maybe Garland takes another leap but it's gonna be hard for them to even be a top 5 seed in a conventional year (BOS, MIL, PHI, BK, MIA, CHI), not to mention other young teams like CHA that will eventually mature. So the expectation may just be no expectation other than for Garland (22yrs) and Allen (23yrs) to soak up experience battling in this loaded East for the next 2-3 years.
