Hold up

The Houston rockets lost 8 in a row? :mjtf:
Their best player is out and JohnWall isn’t nowhere near James harden or Westbrook.

not that it matter but Dipo also been out.

it’s cool though. We getting atop 3 pick and retooling. Befor Wood got injured we were clearly competing for the division and better than Memphis and Mavs and spurs. But the division weak anyway so that’s ain’t staying much: we get a lottery. Pick player i the rotation next year with Wood Tate and Kevin Porter jr and we’ll take the division

Am I tripping but this is the 2nd year/season in a row where I hardly hear anything about the next crop of NBA prospects. I recall all of the time leading up to now this and March is when players really established their draft positions and became known names and the hype trains would start.

or is this expected to be another down draft? I thought this was supposed to be one that was extremely strong!

Because it makes you a more versatile scorer and more unpredictable to contain, especially in 4th quarters. Teams are stopping it when it matters which is why the Pelicans are an 11th seed, 14-18, 4-6 in their last 10, and that's concerning. I want to see Zion be the best he can be, not just a bunch of window dressing on a non-playoff team. SVG does not need to stunt his potential, by not working on expanding his game. We've seen what happens to guys like Giannis, or Westbrook being just good at what they are an not expanding on it, and how it effects thier game when it matters, and I don't want that for Zion, especially when he's shown he actually has a decent jumpshot. No one is saying he needs to take 10+ 3's a game. Just having a face-up mid range jumpshot, and a legit back to the basket hook would do wonders from his game, and turn him into an MVP level top 3 caliber player.

This mindset is why Ben Simmons is the way he is.

My goodness, ya'll and these hot takes. :unimpressed:I'm not gonna even ask how many Pelicans games you've actually watched.

It was supposed to be an elite draft but a lot of guys haven't lived up their potential such as BJ Boston, Jalen Johnson, Ziare Williams, Terrence Clark.

But it's still a pretty good top 5: Cade, Evan Mobley, Suggs, Kuminga and Jalen Green. All 5 of these guys could have went #1 in the past years draft.
