Some forward is going to be screwed out of All-NBA team with both Embiid/Jokic more than likely making First Team.

Big Winner in that situation: Bam who will likely make third team center and in that instance and get the full rookie extension :whew:

So Embiid and Jokic are eligible for the forward selection despite both of them never playing a literal minute at the position all season.... but Zion has been running the point for his team since January and he's not eligible for the guard selection??? :gucci:

This is the most shameless "We don't want to expose ourselves and our fraudulent MVP narratives by having to put our MVP vote in 2nd team... so let's make him eligible for a position he doesn't even play so we can shoehorn him in there!! Genius!!!:gladbron:" :unimpressed: Clownshoes shyt :camby:

A decision that’s going to potentially cost someone millions of dollars in process. I’d be furious if I was other players in the league.

They don’t want to leave the MVP off All NBA First Team, so you make him a Forward which solves the issue, but screws another player over in the process.

Technically, it screws two people over in the process if they give Bron one of those forward spots.

The spurs look like a modern day, competent basketball team when they're actually attempting 3s

They changed the position rules last year because of LeBron. Cause he technically played PG and voters were split on whether he’d be a guard or forward. And then in general I think Zach Lowe said some of the media had been lobbying for years to relax the position rules because they wanted more flexibility when picking teams or something along those lines

Which is totally fine, but I wish they’d get rid of the contract aspect tied to those type of things. Either that or get rid of the position rule altogether and pick who they think is the five best players for each team.
