This might cause friction come playoff time. One thing that benefited the Lakers last season is you had that buy-in from Dwight and Javale. Looking shaky at the moment.

I think he's getting exactly what he wanted. He's getting a chance to showcase himself on a team that's seems to be building in the right direction. All the rookies look promising, they got rid of Blake and have capspace for the future, and should have a very high draft pick in a highly talented draft. Detroit seems to finally be headed in the right direction under Weaver and his eye for talent. Even with them being trash they seem to be rebuilding a culture and aren't an easy out for any team.
