1st round rookie contracts come with the guarantees of RFA/QFO
as is, he's got less options for himself than a second round pick who outperforms his deal
don't get me wrong, guaranteed money is straight but being locked into it when guys are regularly getting overpaid for their potential out here? that's against the grain

Man John wall is the real sabo in the nba. Whenever dude is in l, we in full tank command. Whenever he out, we build leads. Something isn’t right here because he’s by far our most gifted player but it just doesn’t translation into winning Basketball.

It's just the fact that they had their easy schedule at the start of the year and now through April it balances out: Bucks, LAC, BK, UTA x 2, DAL x 2... all praise to Andre if LAL doesn't go 0-7 in that batch alone. Even the 'light' games in-between are vs BOS, CHA, MIA, NYK.
POR and DEN would have to be playing some dreadful bball to not finish the month well ahead. Not that stranger things haven't happened.
