And we have a ton of injuries....

If melo wasnt here we'd be like 8-30.

Aint the reason why we're losing.....

We're losing because we're starting bazemore and have a bench that relies on Mario Hezonja and Anthony toliver...

Anthony Toliver is now our backup center, when whiteside goes to the bench.

Get rid of dray and pay w/e luxury tax

Still not enough

Curry: $43,006,362
Thompson: $35,361,360
Russell: $28,649,250

That's 106 million right there

Even if you dumped everyone else, you got minimum roster charges

Cap is projected to be 116 million.

And/or sign/trade.

I was listening to XM this morning and Brendan Haywood is on the morning show...he was talking about "...there's definitely smoke here (Giannis/Dubs)...", so maybe this is more realistic than I believe, but I'm just not seeing it.

IF there was a way to make it work, 2 of Dray/DLo/Klay would have to go.....

Breh obviously dray and dlo would go :mjlol:

Since when did GSW decide they were keeping Dlo, i thought the goal was always to flip dlo for assets or a role player so that they didnt lose KD for nothing.

Warriors Guaranteed contracts for 2020-21 as of today

Curry: $43,006,362
Thompson: $35,361,360
Russell: $28,649,250
Green: $22,246,956
Looney: $5,000,000
Poole: $2,063,280
Evans: $2,017,320
Spellman: $1,988,280
Smailagic: $1,517,981
Paschall: $1,517,981

Cauley-Stein has a player option for: $2,286,357

You can't go into the luxury tax apron with a sign and trade either, so dumping contacts would be the only way.

Draymond also has a trade kicker.

Obviously, but I was trying to state just the facts...lol.

We don't have a consensus on DLo. I'm (currently) in the 'Keep DLo' camp because I want to see how he (and frankly everyone else we signed too) plays with Steph/Klay. but it will not surprise me if he's traded but it better not be for no damn RoCo....we need more..

Who is trading for Green, especially with a trade kicker? He only makes since on a contending team. :leostare:

Flipping Russell/bench contracts is the obvious move but who can they dump them on without taking money back?

Yes, and I'm not an expert on the financial details, but we'll be in a much better space next year (read: some flexibility). We've got a 17M TPE and we won't be at the limit threshold. But again, I'm not buying the Dubs/Giannis marriage just yet...

Only have 17 million in luxury tax room before reaching the apron.

If they were able to get a Giannis while keeping Klay and Steph, we would be seeing the greatest roster moves of our time.
