:mindblown: Why didn't the NBA schedule the contending teams for the 8 spot to play each other on the last day?

Ehh tbh this is really hindsight talk

Very few people thought the Suns & Spurs would actually play well enough to have a legit shot at making it. I remember a lot of people questioning why the NBA even invited them. I mean, the Suns could go 8-0 and still not qualify for the play-in that’s how much ground they had to make up.

Also, the NBA had to stay true to the schedule teams already had. For example, the Blazers & Suns had already played four times before the shutdown.

Who mentioned extended minutes? Don't move goal post . You said 3rd stringers, Bron played the 1st half and was down.

You looking silly.

It's not hindsight at all IMO. And you could have matched the Suns up with 4 other teams if they already played the Blazers 4 times. And in regards to the Suns and Spurs they could have played spoiler to another team in contention if they hadn't put themselves in contention by now. There was nothing to lose and plenty to gain having these teams play against each other today. Just a lack of imagination IMO.
