The Lakers dynasty of the early 2000s won three straight titles beating the 2000 Pacers, the 2001 76ers and the 2002 Nets.

Could those teams have won the NBA title in any other season where they wouldn't have run into those Lakers?

probably about the same as tim duncan's first 3 rings. id put the pacers and the pistons in the same boat. the pacers had a chance to tie their series at 2-2 but lost in ot then in game 6 they were leading going into the 4th quarter. just like the pistons showed they were capable by that game 5 coming down to the last shot and forcing a game 7 that was tied going into the 4th quarter.

probaly not cause if they run into the Spurs instead, like the Nets did the following year after they lost to the Lakers

nah West was stacked in the 2000s all three of those teams weren’t even in the top 5 of the NBA there was a reason the WCF was looked at as the finals from 2000-2005
