the lakers have had a great season, but they have had a number of head scratching defeats this year (to bad/average teams) that had they won, they could've won 70 games and been looked at as one of the 5 best teams in the history of this league.

lost to indiana without Vic
lost to orlando
lost to philly without embeed
lost to memphis
lost to the nets last night.

Lebron shot 20% from the line tonight, AD shot 5 free throws, but shot 8 3's and yes he made 4 but he has an advantage every night where he either is bigger than the man guarding him or quicker than the man guarding him. Go attack the rim and shoot your 10-12 free throws and change the game. In the playoffs they're going to need AD to dominate the interior of a defense and open it up for his shooters.

Grizzlies next 10 - at Blazers, at Jazz, at Spurs, Thunder, at Bucks, Pelicans, at Pelicans, Celtics, Raptors, at Raptors

3.5 game lead for the 8th seed.
its a murderous stretch but the teams behind them have to show theyre capable of taking advantage. the kings are the only team behind them not playing .500 or worse ball over their last 10. i still wouldnt bet on the grizzlies blowing it though it should get really tight.

cry me a river bytch :russ: Spencer can be whatever he wants to be ... a team with 9 championship rings on it, losing in comeback fashion against Spencer and Deandre is fairly trash.

this aint a Lakers bashing post, its a "overall basketball has been extremely trash this season" post ... no reason on earth to lose that shyt.... I'm falling asleep to all these bytches
Then go to bed, bytch

This is 2nd biggest reason I just don’t see The Lakers making it out of the west. I’ve heard all season the question posed “Who will guard AD?”

Maybe AD ends up guarding AD :ld:

I’ve watched plenty of Laker games this season and his game is wayyyy too finesse to consider him the nightmare he should be. Jumpshots are great but if you aren’t in the paint drawing fouls, getting your team in the bonus and taking advantage of mismatches your not doing all you can to put your team in position to win

He really reminds me of Pau Gasol in a sense. On top of that this idea of getting him touches in the 4th is sort of funny. We have a season’s worth of proof to show he is who he is at that point of the game. Will the 20 games left in the season turn him into a dominant force during winning time? Will Lebron even relinquish the ball when it counts come May to give this guy a chance when it matters most?

Who knows

Yup the Lakers are the only contender with some “bad losses” even though the teams just posted are all playoff teams but yea.

Those teams are actually the most dangerous during the course of a long season. Go back and look at who the 73 win Warriors lost to...Bucks, Pistons, Lakers, a missed layup from losing to the Nets at home (don't ask me how). The Lakers clearly got up for MIL and LAC and they have HOU coming up. This is the prototypical trap game. I'm sure you could go back and look at plenty of 65+ win teams seasons and see some :wtf: Ls that kept them from 70.
