Never liked the Kemba signing, I get it but I still dont like it. Danny should have just built around the Jays and surround them with some vets and championship players. A 6 foot point guard who cant defend well isn’t the move

That Kemba signing was essentially Ainge being content with being a middling playoff team not realizing that both Tatum and Brown would make the leap this year.

Basically they have been stuck in the middle for years. Not good enough to contend or make the playoffs, but not bad enough or lucky in the lottery to receive a top 5 pick since Darko in 2003.

What top 5 picks have they had the opportunity to squander the way that Phoenix and Cleveland have had? Detroit hasn’t been bad enough to bottom out and get a top 5 pick to even have a chance at getting better.

I hope wherever Houston lands in seeding they play the Clippers. Because as long as OKC and/or Dallas can avoid the Clippers they would both have a good shot to beat Utah or Denver depending on who they play
