I'd bet Dame stays in Portland his whole career. I think he wants to go down as a basketball God in Portland. He might not win a ring but it'll cement his legacy.

I think Players like Shaq, KD, Kyrie, CP3 legacies are slightly downgraded because they moved around a lot.

I think Kobe, Dirk,Harden, Bird, Magic, Kevin McHale legacies are all helped because they become synonymous with a team. I think Dame is going this route.

So now we want dudes demanding trades instead of staying the course? My oh my how things have changed since the decision and the KD choice :coffee:

KD already had a finals appearance under his belt and was up 3-1 before losing to the warrior and than joining them. That's what people were mad about not KD leaving.

:mjtf: This thread is awful

Example of NBA fans not knowing what they want

He took the squad to the conference finals last year without they big man

Hood, Nurk, Collins are injured and they just picked up Trevor Ariza

But you nikkas want him to request a trade cuz one off season where they’re still in playoff contention? :unimpressed:

if I’m KD I’m going to Golden State too
nba has the worse fans

They’re Basically in that Memphis Zbo/Gasol/Gay purgatory tier. Been should have seen whet they can get for CJ.

sad but true but you at least felt like “Mempis” (lol) was really about to shake shyt up at some point because they had a damn squad.

Portland feels like a slightly upgraded version of Melo’s Nuggets that you knew were never going to do shyt. And to keep it 100, the last time the Blazers even felt like a threat was in the Drexler/Terry Porter days.

you see it

dude trying to shoe horn KD in this convo lol. KD played with 2 MVPs, Dame hasn't played with anyone in the top 20 with the exception of maybe LMA when dame was younger

If Dame gets Portland in the playoffs and joins the Lakers/Clippers after lowing to them you'll have a point.

All those players with enhanced legacies have rings though.
