Nurkic makes the world of difference. He was performing at an All-Star level last year. Had over a 10 WAR. You lost that and replace him with Whiteside who has a good WAR, on pace for 7.6 WAR but that's not Nurk's level and Nurk makes everyone around him better on offense. Their system runs through him secondary wise and at times primary. You add him and Whiteside, it's scary and gives Portland a much better bench with Whiteside but right now. PTL is limited mainly due to that bench. They need buyouts to happen ASAP. A lot of players will be going to Portland.

Ariza looked bigger. You can tell he haven’t been getting no playing time like that. Dude been tall and lanky since he been in the league. If gig was looking like BrandonT Jackson out there but he still got the activity and energy. Houston could use him right now

It’s a snakeish move but Dame needs to either request a trade( that contract though) or demand For Portland to make a move( basically seeing what they can get for CJ). You can see Dame getting more dejected as the season goes on.
