That was my biggest concern for them. I wondered if they'd be willing to take a step back on offense in order to exert more effort on defense. Similar to what I wondered about Lebron who started the season doing just that even though he's slowed down defensively of late. Harden has been killing it offensively but why. The team would be better if he's not trying to do everything and making them more consistent defensively.

Lebron pulled that no effort be all last season. I commend the lakers role players for letting him know they weren’t picking up his slack. You see the effort this year for Lebron. That was the biggest thing for lakers success: Lebrons willingness to buy into putting effort on defense. That’s the issue with harden and Westbrook. It’s a bad look when your both your leaders pulling that bs. It’s disrespectful to the game. Poor capela be getting set up for failure by these guards who want him to guard pick guy and the ball handler. D’Antoni needs to be fired. A coach can’t simply say nothing about that issue. That’s an easy way to lose the locker room
