I know exactly what you sayin.... Kobe became a man right before own eyes for a reason and no reason.
I wasnt a fan because of his arrogance and quiting against Phoenix but dude dope ass shyt. I would have quit too
I glad that raped shyt did take him down. Kobe been one of the the more regular people in basketball. Cant be mad, he wanted to be the best EVER at his profession.. That one thing, I never hold against him because I wasnt there and the bytch was a slut. Kobe a master. Hard for me to say or debate why the other guy is better but the new trend of saying the other guy constantly changes players is one of the most disingenuous things I've heard. Or maybe Golden State with KD is light work for the greatest player in the world. Alot of crazy shyt is being said with zero context. The whole Mavs roster beat LeBron but somehow everybody else on that superteam gets a pass.![]()
Yea any goat argument always has an unmentioned share of luck/happenstance to consider. i.e. Buddy went 6-0 in the Finals starting at age 28 in '91 but what would that record look like if Isiah and Bird weren't around to keep him from facing the REAL Showtime team in his mid-20s, from '86-'88? Maybe still "goat" when dust settles but not w/o the perfect storybook progression.
Having routine NBA Finalists caliber-teams from a young age will always be the ultimate blessing and curse, because that's just a greater chance you'll catch an L before you retire.
Hell, no matter your age, you can't factor what generational team(s) may be in front of you.
