Donovan has been preaching ball movement and shot selection all season long but it seems they've tuned him out and are just doing whatever out there... he might be gone by the ASB

Their big 3 is flawed and so is their roster composition. Move Melo for players that compliment Westbrook and PG if you still can. You can't just have 3 high usage guys in your starting lineup and expect the team to go anywhere. Also PG is the only credible shooter on that team that shoots >35% from 3 that's getting more than 20 mpg.

Do you know how easy it is to defend a team with no shooters?

Being there last night, the sight lines sucked. That’s a hard place to play just off that alone. Atkinson just reduced OKC to a jump shooting team in those conditions, which doesn’t work for Westbrook and Melo.

is the spot they played at the same one the nba is talking about putting the D-league team? You think theres enough of a fanbase there to support a team?

Easy to preach ball movement. Doesn't work when the guy you swing the ball to will likely miss the shot. Teammates lose confidence in each other and they try to do the whole thing themselves.

blame the coach when :youngsabo: is the one constant brehs

Breh as coaches they are terrible, Russ just magnify it because he’s a terrible decision maker with the ball..

OKC better off moving him to the 2 guard where he don’t have to worry about stat padding and OKC can get a real pg to run the offense

I don’t think they’ve gone that far into specifics. I hope not though. That place would be super cavernous if it were at Arena Ciudad de Mexico.

Long term I just don’t think it would work, mainly because they’re at an even higher altitude than Denver. I don’t mind the global games thing they’re doing though (DF, London, etc.)

It's because it's so tragic.

Their ISO heavy playstyle, mixed with stout defense is at least a decade out of date.

I actually think that this OKC team undermines the argument that 90s teams could hang with the teams of today.

Championship teams of the 90s was all ball movement until the final 4 or 5 minutes of the game.

Matter of fact, every championship team since the 60s had excellent ball movement. That's one thing that is NOT new.

Ball movement didn't start with the GS Warriors.
