@Gil Scott-Heroin wait I remember now I shat on you for using faulty statistics and you come back acting like you won an argumentyou already lost get over it
It wasn't about their defense it was about you using statistics wrong and you know that. You can straw man yourself into a win though. And I'm not thinking about you outside of when I see your posts weirdo.
You mean it took you nearly two weeks for your rockbrain to process what I tagged you about? The Spurs have the third-best defense in the league. I won.

How was I using statistics wrong when I wasn't just using this season as evidence, but past seasons as well? If I simply used the sample size of this season, and nothing else, you'd have a point, but I didn't. I specifically told you this has been a trend before this season. I was using stats from this season and from the past to make my argument, not just stats from this season. How many times do I need to reiterate this? Hence why I've been proven right and the Spurs still have one of the best defenses in the league. It wasn't about their defense it was about you using statistics wrong and you know that. No, you tried to you a handful of games of this season to say that the spurs have a top defense w/o kawhi. Even if you compared the first couple of games to previous seasons it would have made no difference. If it had been a bad 4 or 5 or whatever game stretch it would have made your point void until they were further into the season. What are you trying to say? And if you're trying to say what you're think you're trying to say I expect the stats.pigeonholing his teammates' skillsets
As well as games from BEFORE this season when he wasn't playing and when he wasn't on the floor. I repeat, I was NOT using games from this season by themselves, but using them in combination with past seasons (specifically last season). No, you tried to you a handful of games of this season to say that the spurs have a top defense w/o kawhi.
And how do you figure that, when they had a better DRTG without him on the floor for pretty much the entire season?Even if you compared the first couple of games to previous seasons it would have made no difference.
But they didn't have a bad 4-5 game stretch, they followed in the trend of having a dominant defense no matter who's playing, as they've done for pretty much the last two decades. How is it after all this time you can't see my point? If it had been a bad 4 or 5 or whatever game stretch it would have made your point void until they were further into the season.
It would have made no difference because it's using statistics wrongly. And I'm assuming you're saying the spurs have never had a bad 4 game stretch defensively? Interesting. As well as games from BEFORE this season when he wasn't playing and when he wasn't on the floor. If you had bothered to follow my original argument and the corresponding posts, you would've seen I based it on how great the Spurs defense was without him last season, I then added a point to parlay my argument with how great they've been this season, because they were following in a trend of the past.
Answer me this - was I talking about last season as well?

All I'm saying is he's a great playmaker while not dominating the ball - letting his teammates handle the rock to develop their skillsets, rather than forcing them to play one sort of way. What are you trying to say? And if you're trying to say what you're think you're trying to say I expect the stats.
You still can't even answer the question. It would have made no difference because it's using statistics wrongly. And I'm assuming you're saying the spurs have never had a bad 4 game stretch defensively? Interesting.
