How was I using statistics wrong when I wasn't just using this season as evidence, but past seasons as well? If I simply used the sample size of this season, and nothing else, you'd have a point, but I didn't. I specifically told you this has been a trend before this season. I was using stats from this season and from the past to make my argument, not just stats from this season. How many times do I need to reiterate this? Hence why I've been proven right and the Spurs still have one of the best defenses in the league.
No, you tried to you a handful of games of this season to say that the spurs have a top defense w/o kawhi. Even if you compared the first couple of games to previous seasons it would have made no difference. If it had been a bad 4 or 5 or whatever game stretch it would have made your point void until they were further into the season. You yourself said you only used it because it proved your point

If you had bothered to follow my original argument and the corresponding posts, you would've seen I based it on how great the Spurs defense was without him/not on the floor last season, I then added a point to parlay my argument with how great they've been this season, because they were following in a trend of the past.

All I'm saying is he's a great playmaker while not dominating the ball - letting his teammates handle the rock to develop their skillsets, rather than forcing them to play one sort of way.

And no, I never said the Spurs have never had a bad four-game stretch, defensively. Again, you're misconstruing what I'm posting. I'm telling you that they've had defensive success when Kawhi's been on the bench or not playing in the past, that's why they started the season strong defensively, and have maintained it up to this point. I repeat - I WAS NOT USING THE FOUR GAMES BY THEMSELVES, I was using them to show that they were following a trend. A trend which they're following in, 20+ games in.
The foundation of my argument was based on last season, I brought up their strong start to this season as an added layer. Why can you not acknowledge this?
