First of all, you didn't frame your post where you were specifically talking about the last 10 games (you briefly made mention of their defense over the last 10 games), you were talking about their performance in general and the deep-rooted problems with the team. I mean how can you just be talking about the last 10 games in the context that is the opposite to how they've been playing over the first 50% of their total games this season? No team is that bi-polar that they go from one of the best teams offensively/worst teams defensively, to one of the worst teams offensively/best teams defensively over the same span of games.

Even trying to shift the argument from your original stance, your still not making any sense.

Nevermind the fact you centered their problems around their offense as if they've been existence for a while now saying shyt like "defense ain't the real problem" and "Thibs just ain't the coach for this team, I think Fizdale would be the perfect fit though, they need a players coach who knows how to run an offense or knows how to motivate players").

The stats over their last 10 games -

7th in offense
24th in defense

They had a top-10 offense, and the 27th ranked defense last season; they've been having problems with their defense for a while now - not just this season. It's half the reason why Thibs went out and recruited Butler and Taj in the first place, to shore up that end of the floor.

Like I said - how the hell you came to the conclusion of the very opposite - who the hell knows.

:manny:
What are those stats based on bro bro????? I really don't pay much attention to to defensive stats cause it's a flawed stat in general, I would like to know how DRTG warks doe my nikka.

Individual defensive stats are very flawed (especially for players who aren't defensive anchors), but team defensive stats are good indicators in general (over an appropriate sample size). Defensive rating is simply how many points a team allows per 100 possessions, which equalizes things like pace (it doesn't take the style of pace out of the equation though).

Monk will never play again this season :snoop:. How the fukk is Jordan so fukkin bad with rookies :why:, he finally gets one that's gifted offensively and dude gets benched as soon as Batum overrated ass came back smh. I know MJ ain't the coach, but he could easily tell Cliff to play that man or be fired :yeshrug:

Monk being benched got more to do with Lamb showing the fukk out than anything else. If anything, we've been doing him a favor by trying to teach him how to play point guard - it'll help him out a lot in the long term. The issue with that is that the last time he played full-time point guard was in high school and the gap between that and NBA ball is massive. Its probably also why his shot is so off right now too.

That's the difference between Monk's season and Mitchell's. While I like the fact that Quinn Snyder is okay with just letting Mitchell just play his game and grow into it on the court (because why the fukk not? Hood is a mess, Rubio can't create shyt, and Gobert is down too) there's a different situation in Charlotte. I've seen Monk get dogged just trying to get the ball past halfcourt as the point guard. Its ugly. He's actually got legit NBA vision, halfcourt handling, and the ability to make the pass too. Monk just can't do it as the primary ball handler which is flatout not surprising for any young guard. I'm still not exactly happy with the decision to try and force point guard play on him as a rookie, but Stephen Silas is basically the point guard whisperer considering all that he's done with Steph and Kemba. That's why I don't trip.

Kemba was fukking retarded at point guard his rookie year and Silas pretty much has him playing perfect basketball on both ends.

Besides I can't hate. If Monk didn't fall to us (NY :mjlol:) then we'd have Mitchell and I'd be just as happy with the draft.

This is only Thibs 2nd year... night and day better than last year. Give it sometime. It took Van Gundy a minute for his team to finally make it work.

:patrice:

Their defense hasn't really improved, and as long as KAT's on the team, I don't think it ever will. They can't really hide him on that end either, because his position is such a centralized part of a team's defense, that without him performing well it leads to too many breakdowns.
