The Pelicans probably need to trade Anthony Davis.

They're better off starting over. They aren't going to be able to build a contender during his prime..........and with him being so injury prone it might just be time to start over before he really gets a serious injury or just flat out leaves the franchise in free agency.

I'd try flip Cousins at the deadline and see what happens over the summer.

there is no way DMC and AD are together again next year. they gotta get what they gotta get out of one of em if they aint gonna move both

Why are we acting like this team isn't .500 and slowly improving. :dwillhuh:

It doesn't benefit the Pelicans by trading AD or Boogie this season, they won't get value for Boogie since he's expiring, and they'll probably retain him anyway this offseason because no team worth going to has cap space (unless he tried to pair up with PG in LA). They will try to get him to stay by making the playoffs this year which seems likely, and from there they can make whatever moves necessary to take this team where it needs to be.

If Boogie leaves then you can go ahead and start over because it makes no sense to be nearing the luxury tax with a Boogieless team.

I will admit, there's no situation where Boogie can get traded without there being a sure promise he'll stay, but he can either go to a situation where that's a pretty likely possibility (Wizards) or a team desperate enough with a potentially game changing pick and/or players (Cavs is the only one off top of my head rn) maybe the Cs would be a good combo of the two necessities

this isnt a topic for now though, you gotta revisit this before the trade deadline. Whoever does want AD or DMC will likely spend the weeks leading up trying to figure out an undeniable package

Eastside of that Motor
Any Davis went down tonight too??? :mindblown:
Can someone give me a list of all the injured all stars this season? We’re only 20+ games in and an entire all star team is injured.

This started off with the most lit off season ever to maybe the most starless season ever

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
It's crazy how quickly Mitchell is coming along. He wasn't supposed to be this good this soon. Wonder where him and Kuzma would go if they re-did the draft today.

Based on team need I would think Philly would stay at 3 and just take Mitchell if they knew he was capable of this, Fultz goes to the Lakers, they supposedly wanted him more than Lonzo.

1. Tatum
2. Fultz
3. Mitchell
4. Lonzo
5. Fox

Kuzma goes 6, 7 or 8.

My Pops Forever RIP
Idk breh. I don't think they are in the position to let one of those guys go. I think their bench just needs to get a little better. They need to get rid of either Rondo or Holiday, need some fresh legs. And I think Tony Allen needs to practice that deep ball. Its lookin like you gotta at least be a 3 and D guy, if you aren't good enough offensively in today's game.
there aren't that many of those players in the league though.

James Harden looks like he might win MVP this year and HE'S not a 3 and D player.

Magic was forcing the Ball pick regardless of ability it seemed. The hype train + the idea that he could push the ball in a similar manner to himself was too much for him to resist. I wouldn't be surprised if others in Lakers brass wanted Fultz more though.
