See you in the next Lebron thread.....
When Kyrie takes a high number of shots,it affects the boston offense, even when he's not in the game......Tatum took 1 shot in the 1st quarter, and had no rhythm for the rest of the half....Tatum imo needs to be more involved to start the game.Boston is more dangerous when he's being aggressive and getting 8-12 shots.
This is how much of a dishonest rockbrain you are for trying to blame Kyrie for Tatum having "no rhythm" for the rest of the half -
Tatum only played six minutes of the first quarter, in those six minutes he touched the ball 7-8 times out of the 12-13 possessions (a number of those touches he moved the ball on for a teammate to get a better shot), had one shot, and one turnover. Basically, he was involved in the offense during the six minutes he was on the floor. When Tatum came back into the game at the start of the 2nd quarter, he was missing shots when Kyrie was on the bench.
Tatum was missing shots, simply because he was missing shots, it had nothing to do with Kyrie not involving him in the six minutes they played together in the first quarter.
It's even more hilarious that you always try to point out how the Celtics go on runs when Kyrie's on the bench, and yet you ignore the fact the Pacers went on a run when Kyrie was on the bench in the 2nd quarter, then you try to claim that the Celtics were down in the first half because Kyrie took too many shots, when his "shots" (15 points on 6/12 shots) were actually the main reason why the Celtics were able to cut the margin down to single digits, after the Pacers took a 13-point lead when he was on the bench.
I bet if Kyrie didn't take those "shots" in the first half and the Celtics were down by more points, you'd be back to calling him a "role player", and that he doesn't deserve to be in the MVP discussion because his numbers aren't good enough.
