It was a topic of discussion when he was signed at the time. You didn't really 'call' anything.
Your agendas have got petty as fukk now.

You didn't co-sign it when I said it, the only replies I got were push-back, and now it's all "Shut your mouth whatever."
Like below?
no patterson can't. he has pretty much sucked whenever hes been in the game. he hasnt given anything on either end and been a huge disappointment so far.
He's only 28 and he'd been the same damn player for the last five years. You think he suddenly forgot how to play just like that?
He came to the Thunder as arguably their 5th-best two-way player, and they cut his minutes in half and put him in shyt situations. It isn't surprising that he hasn't shown out. But why couldn't he recover last year's form or better, especially since he's in his prime and surrounded by talent?
Patterson is a career 37% three-point shooter who plays good defense. He's been doing the same "25 minutes to play good D, hit the boards and hit a few shots" role every year. Put him in the starting lineup alongside PG13 and Russ and ALL he would have to do is play hard D and camp out on the three-point line.
A starting lineup with Roberson, PG13, Patterson, and Adams could be one of the top defensive lineups in the NBA no matter how bad Westbrook hunted for rebounds.
On offense, having Westbrook and PG13 creating with Adams wrecking below and Patterson hitting open threes would be more than enough.
Play Patterson 25 minutes/game as starter with that lineup, and I assure you he could average 9 and 6 hitting 40% of his threes. Which is all they'd need.
Meanwhile, Carmelo could anchor the bench alongside Felton and it wouldn't look so weak anymore.
