I am a LeBron fan, but we have to discuss how this dude devalued Chris Bosh and Kevin Love...
It's not cool either. Bron turned these all-star caliber players into glorified spot up shooters for him who lost crazy value in terms of what people think of them in terms of individual players.
Tonight is a good example. Cleveland is destroying Detroit right now.
Kevin Love - 19 points on 8/12 shooting and 11 boards.
That stat line flashed me back to the kind of performances Bosh was putting up in Miami and all got ignored. So much so that Bosh was being reduced from being part of a "big 3" to the big 2 + 1/2.
Granted Kevin Love never won shyt without Bron, but I still think it is worth noting

Bosh was a 3rd option for a Miami team that had shooters too - how much do you think he could get? Playing with Bron he got way more focused on defense, became a much more efficient scorer, developed a three, and STILL was making just as many shots per 36 as he had before Bron. His scoring average only went down because he played fewer minutes than he did when he was "the guy", and he had the ball in his hands less so he drew fewer fouls. But who did you want to take the ball away from, Bron or Wade?
Love was always a below-average inside scorer who got overrated being "the man" on a bad team. He's supposed to be a big yet he's a career 47% shooter from two - you realize how mediocre that is? In his last year on the Timberwolves he shot more threes than he ever has as a Cav, and he got a big ppg number running a lot of pick-and-roles with Rubio that resulted in 50-50 five-foot floaters and shyt. That's great for a team that had as few offensive options as the Wolves, but a Lebron offense trying to pace with the Warriors needs better shots than that. He just isn't big or strong or athletic enough to exert his will inside.
