Yeah I took the ML. The spread was 3.5 when I got my bet in. I'm an admittedly terrible basketball bettor but I love watching the games and having something to watch for.
That was a good bet......if you got the Hornets at +3.5 or 4.5 (opener) you would have won. I take it you were more aggressive in your approach taking the ML....or playing +2.5 late in the day.
Anything involving gambling there's a certain amount of variance. It's really about getting the best of the number. That's one of the biggest differences between winning and losing.
Yesterday I bet the Pistons/Hawks Under 209.5 and it took a 70 point 4th quarter for me to lose my bet so I feel your pain on bets completely failing in the 4th quarter.
