His release isn't slow, it's proven its almost as quick as Klay Thompson's. He's just missing good looks. His problem will be creating in the midrange and shooting off the dribble.

I think when it comes down to it, Kyrie is flat out more matchup proof than Dame. I've seen Dame have some downright abysmal playoff performances and be held down by solid playoff defenses. I simply can't say the same for Kyrie. In high leverage situations when you need a basket, Kyrie is just better.

I've been a victim of judging Kyrie by not recognizing the circumstances in which he's played in (which is what I think you're doing here)..........Dame came into a very solid situation in which he was given the keys to the jump with solid veteran pieces like LMA, Batum and Lopez around him. I think we're truly seeing this year that Kyrie is as good as his perception.

If I needed ONE basket in a vacuum, I guess I’d take kyrie, but if I’m swapping kyrie for dame (either on the cavs or Celtics) it’s pretty much a lateral move imo

Before the Cp3 got hurt in the 2016 playoffs, Dame was pure struggle against an old Cp3 who regularly gets abused by the premier point guards in this league.

That lineup with all these big ass players and Redikk out there is pretty dynamic, does that mean they drafted Fultz with the long term vision being that they play Fultz, Roco, Saric, Simmons, Embiid lineup and just skip having a normal 2?
