I'm inclined to agree but I think it's a tough line with the east being so bad.
I feel like the loss of Pat Pat will hurt and I'm still not sure how I feel about the SF position. Wassup with OG? Is he any good? I also feel like this has to be the year Lowry takes a step back with him turning 31 in March. Seems like this will be a team that can score but struggle to defend.
Still there's a side of me that thinks that the Raps just might be good enough to get to 49 wins in the East. I'm just not in love with it. If I were to fade the Raptors I'd rather do it in the season as they'll still be favorite in many games.
I think this is the season blood, that bench is awful none of them look ready to assume bigger roles....Lowry is going to get hurt in the second half we know this and they will decline badly when hes gone without a suitable backup now...OG i think is a player but hes going to be brought along slowly.
I feel like the starting 5 will score but the bench will be one of the worst scoring 2nd units in the league so i dont think itll be a high scoring team somewhere in the middle and put that with a bad defensive group and thats got to be bring ur wins down...
Theyll be good at home because of the home court advantage they get but they will be a bad road team this year....Alot of those road games against young athletic lineups will give it to this teams second unit...They have both west coast trips early in Oct/Nov so theyll struggle out the gate..then when injuries hit in February could get bad...
