Listening to some Lebron finals be. Wasn’t really paying it any attention until they did something that caught me off guard.

I didn’t know that the OKC Thunder were the official favorite against Lebron’s Heatles:what:? I didn’t even check for it back then but off top I just assumed the Heat were favorites. Did anybody else know or question this back then. That had to be easy money for betters. I remember thinking the Heat in 6. Come to find out that series after all these years has been considered an upset by the Heat :skip:

OKC beat some really good teams en route to the finals, some thought they was the deeper team and the Heat choked the previous year so the idea was that they would fold again.

Nobody thought they would completely shut down James Harden, OKC had a lot of winnable games but they didnt have enough experience

Wolves need to throw some second rounders for dragic , spurs should too

He would be a good back up for the sixers too

I think the Suns will trade for him. He has already played for the new Suns coach Kokoskov and the Suns need a starting PG. They can offer second rounders and maybe the 16th pick that the Heat traded to the Suns a few years ago.

Basically the line came as a byproduct of OKC beating the Spurs. Spurs ended the regular season on a win streak and swept the first two rounds. By the time they won the first two games of the Western Conference Finals people thought they were looking like an all time great team. So then when OKC beat them four straight it was assumed OKC was going to run through Miami.

Ties back to what I always say about the East/West disparity. That was another year where it was assumed West was much better but since Heat took care of business not many complained about it.

Cavs are going to make a splash trade move to try and keep Lebron.( Kemba for the 8th would be perfect for both teams) However, I don’t think it will be enough.
