No games for 3 days, WNBA should be sneaking in the start of their playoffs, and scheduling around the conference finals.
Or least winding down their season and starting their postseason on the heels of the NBA Finals.

I think a Trae Young and Devin Booker backcourt would have the same problems that the Lillard and McCollum backcourt does. Not good enough defensively and overlapping offense. I think Booker needs a taller and more defensive minded PG to play alongside him. That's why I think getting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with that second lottery pick is the best choice.
Going big for the Suns first pick makes too much sense.
I was following Trae's high school stuff and his blowup at OU was crazy... but dude is a fukking project if I've ever seen one. The team that just throws him out there and expects Curry is gonna get wrecked.

I think expecting Curry from him is ridiculous but I wouldn't call him a project on the offensive end. He's shown me that if his shot isn't going he knows how to affect the game in other ways, but the team has to have a second scorer or the floor has to be spaced well. One or the other.
Orlando's FA is clueless but I don't think them drafting Trae is a terrible idea, they just need to commit to a style of play, and they haven't.
