Korver or Ariza would fit better but still, its because of Russ that they would. he is too high usage. no man can carry a team but so far. even Lebron. no way he gets to the finals this year if he has to put of 40 plus points just to win by 3. russ took 43 shots last night. :what:
We know what Russ is gonna be at this point, basically mini Bron. What I saw this playoffs is that PG can play that role of the second scorer, him and Russ were just starting to show what that could look like.

They got the big man they need in Adams, Roberson is the lock down defender. They have jump shooting role players......that void Melo is taking up right now could be a reliable 3 and D guy (hell that could be a few those of guys with melos salary next year) which is something they could've used in this series.

I just don't think they should give up yet, even if they have to keep Melo maybe they can get a cheap Ariza type player for the low. The Russ/PG/Adams core can work with the right pieces around it

I mean I understand Russ shouldering blame but Melo is the reason they lost this series. Dude missed ALOT of wide open shots man. Just imagine if u replaced him with some one like Trevor Ariza or even Kyle Korver :pachaha:

ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS KNOCK DOWN OPEN SHOTS MELO:why:

They have all the pieces if they could somehow some way get rid of Melo and replace him with a real spot up shooter who can play a little defense, keep Paul George, and get Roberson back healthy......

Unfortunately 2 of those 3 things appear to be fukking impossible at this point :mjcry:

I'm not even an OKC fan but it hurts to see how much this team under achieved this season. :mjcry:

Melo ain’t the main reason OKC lost this series he’s part of the reason.. WB is the Point guard and he’s predictable as fukk that’s why OKC is always dog food to great defensive teams

Westbrook will bring the ball up and pass the ball to the wing then walk to the other side and stand there like a dumb ass while the ball sticks.. when nothing happens he gets the ball back at the top of the key and go one on one..

I'm not talking about losing to them, but if your path to the Finals is difficult, you have that much greater chance of getting worn down.

In the last three years, Warriors have really only been tested by healthy teams on their road to the Finals in one season, 2016. And even that season they dodged several big tests due to injuries...but they still weren't 100% for the Finals, and they did lose. Look at how often other teams have a major contributor get hurt - it seems to happen to 75% of their legit competitive opponents, but it never happens to them. With Kawhi hurt, Butler hurt, OKC flailing, Cousins and now possibly AD hurt too, it feels like this is another one of those years where anyone who could have pushed them a little in the 1st or 2nd round has gotten their best player wiped out.
